《呂氏春秋》曰：得時之黍，芒莖而徼下，穗芒以長，摶采而薄糠，舂之易，而食之不噮北縣切。而香，如此者不餲。音遏。先時者，大本而華，莖殺而不遂，遂，長。葉高短穗；後時者，小莖而麻長，短穗而厚糠小米，令而不香。令，新也。 又曰：今以百金與摶黍以示兒子，兒子必取摶黍也；以和氏之璧與百金以示鄙人，鄙人必取百金矣。 又曰：飯之美者，南海之秬。秬，黑黍。 |
