15  | 時女童已擺上果品來，是蒲州朱柿、閩中鮮荔、遼東秋梨、松江銀桃，雖是世上有的，卻非同時之果，亦不能聚在一處。又擺列上龍肝鳳髓、象腼熊掌諸般珍品。鮑母道：「我們吃素，不像你們魔道，專嗜葷腥。」曼尼道：「我皈依大士，受戒之後，也吃的是素。只因舊日那些邪魔朋友，常來攪擾，必要用葷，又不能拒絕他，故此備著的。就是我甥女剎魔聖主，也常到此，少不得這些東西吃哩。」隨叫擺素上來，是天花菜、松菌、榆耳、甘露子之屬，無甚奇異。獨有落後兩盤，味極精美，賽兒叩問何物，鮑母道：「這是玉蕊芽，那是瓊花蒂。」又送上四碟糕，其味甚醇，其香甚濃，問是何物，鮑母道：「此八仙糕也，其方出自鍾離仙師，秘不可傳。」賽兒用過些須，即覺神清氣粹，無異醍醐。轉眼看庭中日影方斜，因忖道：「我到峭壁時，已是日沒時候，差不多坐有五六個時辰，為何天氣倒早了？」 |
