3  | 一日，師生放學，正欲回歸早膳。不期路過六人，有高的、有矮的、肥的、瘦的、老的、嫩的，手拿鮮果。奇問：「諸位吃的是甚的果子？」其中一人說：「兄未逢此果，敬奉一枚與汝嘗嚐。」奇接此果自嘗，撲鼻清香，吃之美味無窮。歸到家中，見父母說吃果之事，說了一遍。自覺身子困倦：「我去瞌睡片時。」自此睡熟，叫也不答應，喚也不醒。父母呆了，不知何故。一連請了幾個醫生，診奇脈，說是中風之病。服藥亦不得入口，連睡數日不醒。只是氣息如常，亦不死亦不活。捱至第六日，復請一醫生察之。說：「不是中風，若謂中風者，其脈必浮細。察其脈，只在半表半裏，總在肝肺二經。有病書云，肝藏魂，肺藏魄，魂魄失散，是以數日不醒。你只可做一張牒文，在城隍告訴因由，城隍主宰乃正直之神，可能查察陰陽，判斷公私，昭然顯見，與汝可分，事不可遲。」尹恒昇聽醫生之言有理，夜作牒文一張。牒曰： |
