2  | 麋：牡，麔；牝，麎；其子，<鹿天>；《國語》曰：「獸長は<鹿天>。」其跡，躔。腳所踐處。絕有力，狄。○麔，音咎。麎，音辰。<鹿天>，於兆切。 |
| 3 | ［疏］「麋牡」至「力狄」。○釋曰：此釋麋之種類也。《說文》云：「鹿屬也。冬至解其角。」《春秋·莊十七年》：「冬，多麋。」麋，總名也。其牡者名麔，其牝者名麎。《詩·吉日》云「其麎孔有」是也。其所生之子名<鹿天>。其腳跡所踐之處名躔，其絕異壯大有力者名狄也。○注「《國語》曰：『獸長麋<鹿天>。』」○釋曰：此《魯語》文也。魯「宣公夏濫於泗淵，里革斷其罟而棄之，曰：『且夫山不槎蘗，澤不伐夭，魚禁鯤而，獸長は<鹿天>，鳥翼っ卵，蟲舍氐彖，蕃庶物也，古之訓也。今魚方別孕，不教魚長，又行網罟，貪無藝也。』」韋昭云：「鹿子曰は，麋子曰<鹿天>。」是其事也。 |
