9  | 此詩大指，予從嚴氏。若夫嚴氏曰：「舊說以為古之賢妃警其夫，欲令早起，誤以蠅聲為雞聲。蠅以天將明乃飛而有聲，雞未鳴之前無蠅聲也。」此說誤矣。即作賢妃誤以蠅聲為雞聲解，亦可。何也蠅聲夜中雖間有之，今小蠅無聲，惟大者有聲。然亦不必泥。蒼蠅之聲，猶云蟲鳴聲耳。秋夜有蟲鳴；此必夏夜，故云蒼蠅。或謂賢妃誤聽，或謂君誤指，皆無不可。乃謂「蠅以天將明乃飛而有聲」，是誤以蚊聲為蠅聲也。蚊則天將明飛而有聲，即下所謂「蟲飛薨薨」是也。自嚴氏為此說，後人均疑蠅聲在雞鳴後，與下「月光」不一例，于是紛紛鑿解。朱鬱儀謂「月」字乃「日」字之誤。季明德以一章為「疑其已遲」，二章為「幸其尚蚤」。何玄子曰：「賢妃謂君毋謂雞聲為蚤，過此以往，不但聞雞聲，將有蒼蠅之聲矣。」因歎詩人本謂誤以蠅聲為雞聲，解詩者又誤以蠅聲為蚊聲，真堪捧腹。《埤雅》蜹喜亂飛，似蚊而小，望之如霧。荀子所謂「⺶酸而澗邸拐咭病Ｒ蠐甓生，與蚊實異。說文「秦謂之潱楚謂之蚊」，似未深考。 |
