16  | 世宗賜巒璽書曰：「知大龕醜虜，威振賊庭，淮外霧披，徐方卷蹠，王略遠恢，混一維始，公私慶泰，何快如之！賊衍此舉，實為傾國。比者宿豫陷歿，淮陽嬰城，兇狡侜張，規抗王旅。將軍忠規協著，火烈霜摧，電動岱陰，風掃沂嶧。遂令逋誅之寇，一朝殲夷；元鯨大憝，千里折首。殊勛茂捷，自古莫二。但揚區未安，餘燼宜蕩，乘勝掎角，勢不可遺。便可率厲三軍，因時經略，申威東南，清彼江介，忘此仍勞，用圖永逸，進退規度，委之高算。」又詔巒曰：「淮陽、宿豫雖已清復，梁城之賊，猶敢聚結。事宜乘勝，並勢摧殄。可率二萬之眾渡淮，與征南掎角，以圖進取之計。」 |
