163  | 王珪母李氏有知人之鑑，謂珪曰：「我看汝當貴，但不知所與者何如耳」。一日，房喬、杜如晦造珪氏，窺見大驚敇，具酒食盡歡，既去，謂珪曰：「二公皆公輔器子，必與之俱貴」。後卒如其言。 杜甫《送重表姪王砅評事使南海詩》曰：「我之曾祖姑，爾之髙祖母，爾祖未顯時，歸為尚書婦。隋朝大業末，房、杜俱交友，長者來在門，荒年自糊口，家貧無供給，客位但箕帚，俄頃羞頗珍，寂寥人散後，入怪鬢髪空，吁嗟為之久，自陳剪髻鬟鬻，市充杯酒，上云：「天下亂，宜與英、俊厚，向竊窺數公經綸，亦俱有次。問最少年虯髯十八，九子等成大名，皆因此人手下云：「風雲合龍虎，一吟吼願展，丈夫雄得辭，兒女醜秦王，時在坐真氣驚戶牖及乎？貞觀初，尚書踐台斗，夫人常肩輿上殿，稱萬夀，六宮師柔順，法則化，妃后至尊，均叔嫂盛，事垂不朽。 |
