20  | 震澤注海三江，松江一流已久為淤。上海之南蹌浦口即吳淞江，嘉定之劉家港即婁江，常熟之白茅港乃震澤餘流。向北注之揚子江者，夫水勢順下，最下為南，次東次北。乃今松江在南，宜為震澤正出之川，反先被湮。其盛流則歸白茅港，水勢漸渀於北，是長橋之所為害，其明驗也。故近陽城昆承流壅，復浚吳淞江南北兩岸，安定諸浦間道，北注劉家、白茅二港。又大黃浦流壅，傍浚范家浜間道，注蹌口，皆引水北流，以順其勢。而蘇松之占阻，水利日盛，千百年後又不知抵於誰止也？ |
