68  | 桐城陳荀一□□士龍編次《龍文鞭影》二卷，在科舉時代，流行頗盛，幾於家弦戶誦。雖是俗書，而流行之廣且久，誠屬駭人聞聽。厥後，番禺李子良□□暉吉、徐蘭畦□□灒復同輯《二集》二卷，鎮遠賀桐村□□鳴鸞復輯《續集》二卷，第五男幼誠□□緒蕃註，皆有刊本。同一毫無價值庸惡陋書，而陳本獨最風行，是撰述之傳不傳，不在佳惡詳簡，亦關乎天命，非人力所能施，信乎天意之難測。即佛家言因果，此等事，亦無因果可言也。 |
