24  | 蕭之北幹山，舊多種，松深林如神居山，頭有嶺，名北嶺祠，厲將軍神於嶺間，或曰神以驅厲名，或曰，此秦人厲狄也，隨項羽入闗，歸塟此山，稱將軍，以祠在北嶺稱北嶺，將軍相傳，山前创地得石穴，骸物俱壊，惟顱骨尚存，大如車蘿，即將軍墳云：「宋徽宗朝，睦州方臘反，將寇杭州，艤舟於蕭山西江之濵，吏民恐禱將軍神，忽東北風發，壊其舟，夜半，見甲士列岸傍，中有巨人介首衣虎豹皮，長出，衆數尺，驚不敢近，知縣劉韐上其事，封武佑將軍。暨元至正間，東南寇起西陵，烽火徹晝，亱有賊從中來者，云賊思分遣寇東浙，以江岸有兵故止，然實無一兵也，漁船涉帑者，深夜見神燈滿江岸，如列營，然以故賊終不敢渡，時青田劉基奉其母避兵蕭山，值縣修將軍祠基，為文紀事，勒石祠左，北幹村人，毎嵗於正月初四日祠將軍，至今不絶。元陶九成，載元時至正某年，大旱，禱於廟，得雨，俄有降乩於廟者，云：將軍自言吾有徳於民，民不忍忘我，俾血食於此，㡬千五百年矣！」蓋祠久能神，《呂覽》曰：「五世之廟，可以觀怪，神之至則近於怪焉。 |
