《東明聞見錄》
11  | 秋八月，刘承胤叛降清。奉天皆陷，清人殺之。勳鎮刘承胤號『鉄棍』，擁重兵，善健鬥。然子女玉帛過于多，愛戀恐失，遂出降清。上倉皇出走，清人入武岡，利承胤之貲，佯与結盟；数月後召与宴，殺之。 清人執吳炳。上之出也，百官俱未知之。吳炳以㽽疾留，逼之薙髮投誠，未逾月病死。 帝幸柳州。承胤之降也，百官未知；上先知之，獨与太后倉皇出奔，惟錦衣衛馬吉翔步從。百姓獻雞黍、土司獻金刀，上皆慰勞之。崎嶇險阻，由武入粵，瞿留守遣人間道請由古埿还象州入桂。上次柳州，留守極言不可，他移一步，黔、滇地荒勢隔，忠義心渙。三百年之土地，僅存粵西一線，返蹕收復、號召聯絡：粵師出粵，以恢江贛；楚師出楚，以恢武荊。再疏請迎，極言粵西之山川形勝、兵馬人情，俱有可恃；年時豐稔，飛輓有資。上三勅召留守，留守不赴。 |
