40  | 娃媛美女為媛娃媠，窕豔，美也。呉、楚、衡、淮之間曰娃，南、楚之外曰媠，宋、衞、晉、鄭之間曰豔，陳、楚、周、南之間曰窕。故呉有館娃宫，秦有榛娥䑓，秦、晉之間美貌謂之娥，或謂之姣。趙、魏、燕、代之間曰姝，自關而西，秦、晉之故，都曰妍，美狀為窕，美色為豔，美心為窈。奕，偞容也，自關而西，凡美容謂之奕，或謂之偞。宋、衞曰偞，陳楚、汝頴之間謂之奕，容麗曰媌，形美曰媠，容媚曰婠，南楚以好為娃，肥骨柔弱曰婐，娜頰妍美曰嫌媚，容貌曰㜰。𡚾，好也。詩曰：「靜女其𡚾」。秦、晉謂好曰娙娥，吳、楚之外，謂好曰媠。 |
