錢　乙鄆州人，善醫，官翰林醫學。皇子病瘈瘲，乙進黄土湯而愈，神宗問其故，對曰：「以土勝水，水得其平，則風自正」。帝說擢大醫丞，賜金紫。由是公卿宗戚家延致無虛日，活人不可枚舉。乙本有羸疾，自以意治之，嘆曰：「此所謂周痺也。入藏者死，吾能移之使在末」。因自製藥，日夜飲之，左手足忽攣不能用，喜曰：「可矣！」既而得茯苓大如斗，以法噉之盡，由是雖偏廢，而風骨悍堅如全人。乙為方不靳靳古法，時度越縱舍，卒與法㑹，卒年八十二。
