4  | 尋特授廣西提點刑獄，遍歷所部，至浮海巡朱崖，秋毫無擾州縣，而停車裁決，獎廉劾貪，風採凜然。朱崖地產苦䔲，民或取葉以代茗，州郡征之，歲五百緡。瓊人以吉貝織為衣衾，工作皆婦人，役之有至期年者，棄稚違老，民尤苦之。與之皆為榜免。其他利病，罷行甚眾。瓊之人次其事為《海上澄清錄》。嶺海去天萬里，用刑慘酷，貪吏厲民，乃疏為十事，申論而痛懲之。高惟肖嘗刻之，號《嶺海便民榜》。廣右僻縣多右選攝事者，類多貪黷，與之請援廣東循、梅諸邑，減舉員賞格，以勸選人。熙寧免役之法，獨不及海外四州，民破家相望。與之議舉行未果，以語顏戣，戣守瓊，遂行之。 |
