《列傳第四十七》
43  | 謨博學，於禮儀宗廟制度多所議定。文筆論議，有集行於世。總應劭以來注班固《漢書》者，為之集解。謨初渡江，見彭蜞，大喜曰：「蟹有八足，加以二螯。」令烹之。既食，吐下委頓，方知非蟹。後詣謝尚而說之。尚曰：「卿讀《爾雅》不熟，幾為《勸學》死。」謨性方雅。丞相王導作女伎，施設床席。謨先在坐，不悅而去，導亦不止之。性尤篤慎，每事必為過防。故時人云：「蔡公過浮航，脫帶腰舟。」長子邵，永嘉太守。少子系，有才學文義，位至撫軍長史。 |
