9  | 謝希深幼子，景平初，任為大理評事，監光化軍，税有兵官者為本㕔軍員，持以事，兵官常憂鬱不樂，景平一日問之，兵官泣訴，景平曰：「君當解官去，吾必能報之」。兵官去，景平因權軍事，呼軍員詰之曰：「老兵何敢持兵官使罷任去軍員者？」無賴大言曰：「景平但可飲酒擊鞠耳！此事不當預！」景平，以犯階級送獄，獄成，決配之。希深一時有大名，其諸子皆賢，景平居幼，尚有家風云。祖無擇，字擇之，蔡州人，少從穆伯長為古文，后登甲科。嘉祐中，與王介甫同為知制誥，擇之為先進。時詞臣許受潤筆物，介甫因辭一人之饋不獲，義不受，以其物置舍人院梁上。介甫以母憂去，擇之取為本院公用，介甫聞而惡之，以為不廉。熙寧二年，介甫入為翰林學士，拜參知政事，權傾天下，時擇之以龍圖閣學士、右諫議大夫知杭州。介甫密諭監司求擇之罪，監司承風旨，以贓濫聞於朝廷，遣御史王子韶按治。子韶，小人也，攝擇之下獄，鍛鍊無所得，坐送賔客酒三百小瓶，責節度副使安置。元豐中，復秘書監、集賢院學士，移知光化軍以卒，士大夫寃之。同時有知明州、光祿卿苗振，監司亦因觀望，發其𧷢罪。朝廷遣崇文院校書張載按治，載字子厚所謂橫渠先生者，悉平反之罪，止罰金，其幸不幸有若此者也。 |
