4  | 家大人曰：云，猶「或」也。「或」與「有」古同聲而通用見「或」字「有」字下，故「雲」訓為「有」，又訓為「或」。《書·秦誓》曰：「日月逾邁，若弗員來。」衛包改「員」為「云」，今據《正義》及《七經孟子考文》更正。言若弗或來也。《詩·抑》曰：「無曰不顯，莫予雲覯。」言莫予或覯也。《桑柔》曰：「民有肅心，荓云不逮。」言使或不逮也。又曰：「為民不利，如云不克。」言如或不克也。以上三條，《正義》皆誤解「云」字。《魯語》曰：「帥大仇以憚小國，其誰雲待之？」言誰或禦之也。韋注曰：「待，猶禦也。」《晉語》曰：「其誰云弗從？」言誰或不從也。韋注曰：「誰有不從？」有，亦「或」也。又曰：「內外無親，其誰云救之？」言誰或救之也。韋注曰：「云，言也。」失之。《墨子·公孟》篇曰：「鳥魚可謂愚矣，禹、湯猶云因焉。」言鳥魚雖愚，禹、湯猶或因之也。上文曰：「今鳥聞熱旱之憂，則高；魚聞熱旱之憂，則下。當此，雖禹湯為之謀，必不能易矣。」 |
