1  | 錢子旣勤得古瓦文曰●缺字：⿰丰丰，因援〈大射儀〉鄭注「豐，从豆𠁳聲。」以證此即豐字也。程易疇謂「《說文》不言𠁳字，惟鄭有𠁳聲之注，當据瓦文以明鄭、許之合。」愚攷《說文》此條而知非許、鄭之異也。昔嘗以黃公紹《韻會》所引《說文》校補之矣。《韻會》引《說文》豐字曰：「从豆从𠁳，象形。」是黃公紹所見《說文》舊本如此。然則今無「从𠁳」之文者。徐氏所刪耳。準此言之，則〈太射〉疏所云「以𠁳為聲」者，正合許氏之恉。且疏又云：「今諸經皆以承尊爵之𠁳，不用本字之𠁳，而用豐年之豐，故鄭還依豐字解之。」据此疏文，則𠁳乃豐之本字，而𫵮乃豐之古文，審矣。旣勤旣定此瓦為文王豐宮之物，說者又疑是漢初新豐宮室所施。然《漢·志》應劭注未言作宮之制，而《詩》鄭箋明言作宮之文，豈得以其時太遠而疑之歟？抑愚更有說者。賈疏旣以本字之豐久不著於經，則是經典相承以來皆用𠁳字，夫以經典相承久不用之字而施於新徙之里居乎？此又不待辨而知非漢瓦者也。旣非漢瓦，則推而上之更無他書可据，安得以旣勤所攷為迂遠也？愚昔見候官林吉人漢瓦詩冊其小印曰「且閑」，蓋以自寓佶名也。今旣勤得是瓦，裝於冊，予因題曰「維豐艸堂」以寓其名，視吉人為尤切矣。 |
