52  | 客曰：「將以八月之望，與諸侯遠方交遊兄弟，並往觀濤乎廣陵之曲江。至則未見濤之形也，徒觀水力之所到，則恤然足以駭矣。觀其所駕軼者，所拔擢者，所揚汨者，所溫汾者，所滌汔者，雖有心略辭給，固未能縷形其所由然也。恍兮惚兮，聊兮慓兮，混汨汨兮，忽兮恍兮，俶兮儻兮，浩瀇瀁兮，慌曠曠兮。秉意乎南山，通望乎東海。虹洞兮蒼天，極慮乎崖涘。流覽無窮，歸神日母。汨乘流而下降兮，或不知其所止。或紛紜其流折兮，忽繆往而不來。臨朱汜而遠逝兮，中虛煩而益怠。莫離散而發曙兮，內存心而自持。於是澡概胸中，灑練五藏，澹澉手足，颒濯髮齒，揄棄恬怠，輸寫淟濁，分決狐疑，發皇耳目。當是之時，雖有淹病滯疾，猶將伸傴起璧，發瞽披聾而觀望之也，況直眇小煩懣，酲醲病酒之徒哉！故曰：發蒙解惑，不足以言也。」太子曰：「善！然則濤何氣哉？」客曰：「不記也。然聞於師曰，似神而非者三：疾雷聞百里；江水逆流，海水上潮； |
