3  | 考馬總《意林》所載，皆與今本相符。李善《文選注》於司馬彪贈山濤詩引《新語》曰：楩梓僕則為世用。於王粲從軍詩引《新語》曰：聖人承天威，承天功，與之爭功，豈不難哉！於陸機日出東南隅行引《新語》曰：高台百仞。於古詩第一首引《新語》曰：邪臣之蔽賢，猶浮雲之障日月。於張載雜詩第七首引《新語》曰：建大功於天下者，必垂名於萬世也。以今本核校，雖文句有詳略異同，而大致亦悉相應，似其偽猶在唐前。惟《玉海》稱陸賈《新語》今存於世者，道基、術事、輔政、無為、資賢、至德、懷慮才七篇。此本十有二篇，乃反多於宋本，為不可解。或後人因不完之本補綴五篇，以合本傳舊目也。今但據其書論之，則大旨皆崇王道，黜霸術，歸本於修身用人。其稱引《老子》者，惟思務篇引上德不德一語，餘皆以孔氏為宗。所援據多《春秋》、《論語》之文。漢儒自董仲舒外，未有如是之醇正也。流傳既久，其真其贗，存而不論可矣。所載衛公子鱄奔晉一條，與三傳皆不合，莫詳所本。中多闕文，亦無可校補。所稱文公種米、曾子駕羊諸事，劉晝《新論》、馬總《意林》皆全句引之，知無訛誤，然皆不知其何說。又據犁嗝報之語，訓詁亦不可通。古書佚亡，今不盡見，闕所不知可也。 |
