118  | 臣光曰：宦官用權，為國家患，其來久矣。蓋以出入宮禁，人主自幼及長，〔長，知兩翻。〕與之親狎，非如三公六卿，進見有時，可嚴憚也。〔見，賢遍翻。〕其間複有性識儇利，〔儇，許緣翻，智也，疾也，利也。〕語言辯給，〔章：十二行本「給」下有「善字」；乙十一行本同；孔本同；張校同。〕伺候顏色，承迎志趣，〔伺，相吏翻。〕受命則無違迕之患，使令則有稱蘰之效。〔迕，五故翻。稱，尺証翻。蘰，與愜同，詰謟翻。〕自非上智之主，燭知物情，慮患深遠，侍奉之，還不任以事，則近者日親，遠者日疏，甘言卑辭之請有時而從，浸潤膚受之訴有時而聽。〔論語：孔子曰：「浸潤之譖，膚受之訴，不行焉，可謂明也已矣。」朱熹注云：浸潤，如水之浸灌，滋潤漸漬而不驟也。膚受，謂肌膚所受利害切身者也。〕於是黜陟刑賞之政，潛移於近習而不自知，如飲醇酒，嗜其味而忘其醉也。黜陟刑賞之柄移而國家不危亂者，未之有也。 |
