71  | 六年夏四月己亥，文彥博罷。彥博久居樞密，以王安石多變舊典，言于帝曰「朝廷行事，務合人心，宜兼采眾論，以靜重為先。陛下勵精求治，而人心未安，蓋更張之過也。祖宗法未必皆不可行，但有偏而不舉之弊爾」安石知為已而發，奮然排之曰「求去民害，何為不可。若萬事隳脞，乃西晉之風，何益於治」及市易司立，至果實亦官監賣，彥博以為損國體，斂民怨，致華嶽山崩，為帝極言之。且曰「衣冠之家罔利於市，縉紳清議尚所不容，豈有堂堂大國，皇皇求利，而天意有不示警者乎」安石曰「華山之變，殆天意為小人發。市易之起自為細民久困，以抑兼并爾，於官何利焉」彥博求去益力，遂以司空、河東節度使，判河陽，徙大名府。 |
