66  | 張天覺嘗乞擇詞臣，而言：「蓋自近世，文館寂寥。向者所謂有文者，歐陽修已老，劉敞已死。王珪、王安石已登兩府。後來所謂有文者，皆五房檢正、三舍直講，崇文檢書，間有十許人。今日之所謂詞臣者，曰陳繹，曰王益柔，曰許將是已。臣嘗評之，陳繹之文，如款段老驥，筋力雖勞，而不成步驟；王益柔之文，如村女織機杼，雖成幅而不成錦繡；許將之文，如稚子吹塤，終日喧呼而不合律呂。此三人者，皆陛下所用出詞令，行詔誥，以告四方而揚於外庭者也。今其文如此，恐不足以發帝猷，炳王度」云云。 |
