楚王好安陵君，安陵君用事，景睢邀江乙使言於安陵君曰：「楚國多貧民，請以雲夢之田貸之耕以食，無使失所。」安陵君言於王而許之。他日，見景子，問其人之數，景子曰：「無之。」安陵君愕曰：「吾以子為利於王而言焉，乃以與人而為恩乎？」景睢失色而退，語其人曰：「國危矣！志利而忘民，危之道也。」
