《卷一》

45	五年，封丞相弘為平津侯。《史記將相名臣表》、《漢書公卿百官表》，弘為相，皆在今年。《建元以來侯者表》、《恩澤侯表》皆云元朔三年封侯。按三年，弘始為御史大夫，蓋誤書「五」為「三」，因置於三年耳。元狩二年三月戊寅，丞相弘薨。壬辰，以李蔡為丞相，張湯為御史大夫。《漢書百官公卿表》：「元狩三年三月壬辰，廷尉張湯為御史大夫，六年，有罪自殺」。《史記將相名臣表》：「元狩二年，御史大夫湯」。按李、蔡既遷，湯即應補其缺，豈可留之朞年復與李、蔡為丞相日月正同乎！又按長厯三年三月無壬辰，又以得罪之年推之，在今年明矣。今從《史記表》。
