肅宗至德元載正月，祿山以達奚珣為侍中，張通儒為中書令。幸蜀記云：以珣為左相，通儒為右相。今從實錄。

至德元載七月庚午，上皇至巴西。肅宗實錄作辛未，今從玄宗實錄，次栁氏。舊聞：上始入斜谷，天尚早，煙霧甚昧，知頓使、給事中韋倜於墅中得新熟酒一壺，跪獻于馬首者數四，上不為之舉，倜懼，乃注於他器，自引滿於前。上曰：卿以我為疑也。始吾御宇之初，甞大醉損一人，吾悼之，因以為戒。迨今四十年矣，未甞甘酒味，指力士、近臣曰：此皆知之，非紿卿也。從者聞之，無不感悅。幸蜀記：上皇在巴西郡，宰臣請髙力士奏蜀中氣候溫瘴，宜數進酒。上皇令髙力士宣旨曰：朕本嗜酒，斷之已久，終不再飲，深愧卿等意也。力士因說上皇開元四年，因醉怒殺一人，明日都不記得，猶召之。左右具奏，上愴然不言，乃賜御庫絹五百匹，用給䘮事，更令力士就宅宣旨致祭，從兹斷酒，雖下藥亦不輙飲。按玄宗荒于聲色，幾喪天下，斷酒小善，夫何足言，今不取。
