3  | 自大中八年，安南都護擅罷林西原防冬戍卒，洞主李由獨等七綰首領被蠻誘引，復為親情，日往月來，漸遭侵軼，罪在都護失招討之職，乖經略之任。臣於咸通三年春三月四日，奉本使尚書蔡襲手示，密委臣單騎及健步二十以下人，深入賊帥朱道古營寨。三月八日，入賊重圍之中。蠻賊將楊秉忠、大羌楊阿觸、楊酋盛悉是烏蠻賊人，同迎，言辭狡詐。臣郤迥一一白於都護王寬。寬自是不明，都無遠慮，領得臣書牒，全無指揮，擅放軍回，茍求朝獎，致令臣本使蔡襲枉傷矢石，陷失城池。征之其由，莫非王寬之過！ |
