15  | 呉城舊傳呉王闔閭時子胥所築，故名闔閭城。《呉越春秋》謂子胥伐楚還師，取丹陽及黃瀆土以築，利其堅也。城形如亞字，世俗不知以為龜形。本土城也，梁龍德中，錢氏加以陶甓。至元三十一年，重修築之，甓上歲月、工匠皆具。蓋土坯皆澄漿為之，欲其堅久故也。 |
